Here come the holidays

This Thanksgiving was the perfect kick-off to the holidays. We couldn't resist taking a picture of the kids with their first Thanksgiving turkey. Elijah did us the best favor by sleeping through the entire dinner while Annabel had fun in her exersaucer and sampled some of the turkey to make sure it was yummy. Here are a few other shots from the big day. As you can see both grandmas were in heaven!

We also managed to kick up an old Bovaird tradition...the Christmas tree hunt! Well actually, it came back with some revisions. While grandpa Jack was excited about spending all day hunting and even prepared a list of 25 "local" tree farms, we had to insist on a 30 minute window for selecting the perfect tree as well as a mandatory 1 tree farm visit. The kids did great all bundled up and it was a beautiful day for sawing down your own Christmas tree.
