We've had a pretty good start to the new year. Elijah has gotten much better at eating with a spoon. We are doing 1 jar of solids a day now and have tried green beans, peas, prunes, pears and bananas. We also started giving Elijah a little bit of juice each day which he LOVES. He's starting to get used to the highchair even though it looks so huge next to his little body. Not that he really has a little body...at almost 6 months he is wearing clothing for 9 month olds. When will it stop??! Rolling over has still yet to occur but getting closer every single day. He has gotten much better at sitting up but not quite sturdy enough to do it on his own. His favorite new accomplishment has been practicing his beatbox skills...or as Linwood puts it...spitting. Check out the video.
