In search of some indoor entertainment, we ventured to a children's museum the other weekend and Elijah really enjoyed the big African drum. Perhaps is was his way to celebrate his 18 month birthday this past January. Here's the report for the pediatrician: going steady in the height category but not gaining weight as much as they would like to see. We actually need to go back for another weight check in a few weeks since he's usually been off the charts for his size. He also passed the autism checks with flying colors (a written/verbal survey they have you fill out before you see the doc); it was bizarre and scary to think about and really don't even want to blog about for fear of a jinx.
We also talked about his language development and set a goal of learning 20 new words before he turns 2. (See the new fun list on the side bar)
