To celebrate Elijah's grandmother's birthday, we took a trip to the zoo. With great fall weather and some of our friends, Elijah was thrilled to visit the animals for the first time. When we asked him what his favorite animal was, he told us "Monkeys". Then he said, "Monkeys stinky". Which is actually what mommy said. Deep down, I think he really liked the penguins the best. He seemed mesmerized by the little birds jumping in and out of the water and actually cried when we started to walk away.
