Summer Heat

Busy with work but having a blast with Elijah. Last year, Elijah liked the pool but still wanted to be held in the water. This year, he is a huge fan- jumping in, practicing his swimming and enjoying the splashes. We have gone almost every weekend with the help of some new floaters - a mix between a life-vest and the traditional arm floats -but the inflatable pool needs some work. We'll probably be sticking to the sprinkler and big pool from now on.

We have also been busy planning a few trips to the beach this summer as well as a baseball game or two. It's been really hot already this spring/summer but Elijah has loved watching the baseball players again this year and dancing to the music between innings.

We've also been getting ready to start the birthday celebrations. All 12 of the kids in Elijah's daycare will be turning 3 in the next 3 months. Elijah has already discovered the magic of the word "goodie bag" and has become a definite cupcake lover.

Live music and parachutes have been in the schedule this summer too. We hope to do lots more once it cools off a bit more. This year we'll be planning his big 3yr birthday INSIDE!
